As part of a film making course at Depot, Lewes, students from South Malling Community Primary School, Lewes have made a video to encourage people to waste less food and to compost.
On 18th July, there will be a full day of nature activities in Seaford by Seaford Natural History Society and Renaturing Seaford. Look out for a full programme of activities on their website coming soon including a talk by Michael Blencowe who is always fun and engaging.
The government has announced an update to the School Food Standards which will scrap high sugar, and deep fried foods. More fruit, veg, and wholegrains will be added to menus. This is good news but we call for support for staff and students to help them better understand why these changes are necessary.
